Undo back pain, stress, anxiety, and tension by attending a no cost introduction to the Alexander Technique.
This introduction is open to all, and will provide an overview of the Alexander Technique as well as addressing the needs and interests of those present. You will learn some basic principles of the technique (awareness/self-observation, making conscious choices to change habits), as well as tools for stress relief and pain management. Common results from studying the Alexander Technique are: improved coordination, better posture, relief from pain, and a feeling of ease.
This class will involve both verbal instruction and physical instruction (light touch); however, if you are uncomfortable with physical contact other options will be made available.
Free introductions are held on the first Monday of every month from 7:00 – 8:00pm in Santa Monica.
